Our Beginnings

Suzanne Luce founded For Pets Sake in Angaston, nestled in the heart of the Barossa Valley, with a simple goal: to give the local community a pet store that offered quality products at fair prices.

The shop officially opened its doors on February 23, 2013. What started as a small space quickly expanded to fill the charming four-room house it still operates from today.

On October 1, 2025, Suzanne passed the reins to Manda McElroy, who had been part of the team for three years and managed the store for two of them. With Manda continuing the journey, For Pets Sake continues to build on its strong foundation of expert advice and friendly service.

We’re passionate about keeping our shelves stocked with the best products we can find—always fresh, always up to date. We focus on natural, Australian-made treats, foods, and accessories, and love supporting local suppliers whenever possible. Need something special?
