Owner, sales assistant
Suzanne is originally from Ottawa, Canada where she worked as a vet nurse and also spent several years working for a local pet store running the small animal and reptile departments. Her love of animals was evident right from a young age, when she used to bring home any stray creatures she found! This love never dissipated and has led her to running a vet clinic and opening For Pets Sake. Suzanne gets a real kick out of helping people enjoy their pets. A qualified vet nurse herself and an avid pet owner, Suzanne has cared for numerous animals throughout her life including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, lizards and turtles.
Sue hails from Adelaide, although spent a good portion of her upbringing in the country. Sue started vet nursing with The Vet Clinic back in 2007 and was an instrumental part of the initial set up of For Pets Sake. Sue's love of animals also hails from her early days having grown up surrounded by a menagerie of animals. Sue is an avid animal rights supporter and has a deep love and respect for all animals. All her own pets are either abandonees or rescues. A more caring soul you will not meet! Sue will always steer you in the right direction in pet ownership with her vast experience and knowledge. She is passionate about the well-being of animals and loves being able to share this and assist others to provide the best for their own pets. Sue can be found managing the store on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and also works in The Vet Clinic on Mondays.
